报告题目(英文):How high temperature phase equilibria studies help us to better understand and describe the complexities of the iron ore sinter process
报告内容简介:生产高质量的铁矿石烧结矿是现代高炉实现高生产率、较高的传热和反应效率的重要因素。烧结矿物相和微观结构的控制是获得烧结矿最优物理及化学性能的关键因素。本文研究了富铁区域CaO-Fe2O3-SiO2体系的相平衡,特别研究了钙硅铁氧体 (Silico-Ferrite of Calcium, SFC) 的相化学与相平衡。本研究采用了改进的高温相平衡实验技术,烧结矿样经淬火后通过电子探针 (electron probe X-ray micro analysis, EPMA) 进行微区分析。

报告人简介(英文):Prof Hayes is Professor of Metallurgical Engineering within the School of Chemical Engineering, The University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. Present Position: Program leader, Metallurgical Engineering, Foundation Director of the Pyrometallurgy Innovation Centre (PYROSEARCH) (https://pyrosearch.chemeng.uq.edu.au/). Prof Hayes has over 300 research publications in international journals and conferences (http://researchers.uq.edu.au/researcher/482). His research projects encompass high temperature phase equilibria and reaction kinetics and mechanisms in high temperature metallurgical systems. A feature of the research has been the provision of fundamental science in support of industry process and development. Dr Hayes research has been built on strong collaborations with industry.
