报告内容简介:(1 Neural Networks - a Brief Introduction 2Introduction to Genetic Algorithms 3Optimization of Steel Plant Operation with Biomass in the Blast Furnace 4 Modelling and Optimization of Blast Furnace Hot Stoves 5 Examples of Blast Furnace Operation Analysis With Mathematical Models The theoretical background of the networks are first presented, followed by an overview of the most common network architectures and training methods. The principles of operation of the networks are demonstrated with small examples, and some fields of applications are reported.

报告人简介(中文)Helle Mikko Ilmari,现阿尔托大学副教授,先后在芬兰爱博学术大学攻读硕士学位和博士学位,精通芬兰语,瑞典语和英语。长期从事神经网络和遗传算法的理论和制造业的应用,生物量(biomass)在制造业的应用,制造业大数据应用等研究并取得了丰硕的科研和应用成果。先后在《Journal of Cleaner》,《Isij international》,《biomass and bioenergy》和《Chemical engineering and processing》等国际知名冶金期刊上发表过大量论文。所在团队每年从芬兰科学院,芬兰国家创新局,欧盟(RFCS)拿到5-7个项目,每年有200万欧元的科研经费。

报告人简介(英文)Helle Mikko Ilmari, an associate professor at Aalto University, has a master degree and a doctor degree at the Abo Academic University in Finland. Professor Mikko is fluent in Finnish, Swedish and English and has long been engaged in the theory and manufacturing of neural networks and genetic algorithms, the application of biomass in manufacturing,and the application of big data in manufacturing,and has achieved fruitful research and application results. He has published numerous papers in internationally renowned metallurgical journals such as Journal of Cleaner, Isij international, biomass and bioenergy and Chemical engineering and processing. The team receives 5-7 projects each year from the Finnish Academy of Sciences, the Finnish National Innovation Agency and the European Union (RFCS), with getting an annual research grant of 2 million euros.
